Oily skin ritual

We recognize an oily skin to dilated pores, it is a shining skin with a greasy film. Skin can be thicker with dull complexion. This is due to an excess of sebum, which leads to black dots or red dots. The good news is that this type of skin is getting old pretty good, they have less wrinkles. 

Oily skin usually starts during hormonal changes at puberty. Most of the time, the skin changes after that period but it is not that rare that people keep an oily skin until old age. That’s why some women with a mature skin still have dots. The entire face is subject to acne, not only the T zone (which would match with a combination skin).

Several external factors make it worse during adulthood :

• Unsuitable cosmetics : comedogenic or too abrasive
• Excessive sun exposure
• Inappropriate food
• Genetics
• Polluting agents : gas, cigarette smoke
• Certain medical treatment : hormones, contraceptive, antidepressant

•        Remove your make up correctly every day with a non aggressive make up removal

•        Eat healthy food, rich in omega 3 and 6
•        Drink 1,5L of water per day
•        Do not smoke and avoid polluted places
